Spell: Clementine Candle Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Clementines are popular this time of year, and it so happens that you can use one to make some really cool candle magic and impress everyone at your holiday gathering. Score the clementine around its center, and carefully pull the peel off in two pieces. One end has part of the pith sticking up from the peel-this is your wick. Pour olive oil into that half, exposing the tip of the wick. Place a penny over the wick to help it soak up oil, while saying under your breath:

"Clementine, joy to find,
share good luck, yours,
theirs, and mine."

Carve a star-shaped hole into the center of the other peel. Then remove the penny, light the wick, and place the top on the candle. It will glow beautifully.
Let everyone know that eating one of the sections from the clementine candle will bring good luck throughout the year.
