Used traditionally for protection and good fortune and to increase vitality, holey stones, or "hag" stones, have naturally occurring holes through them-often the result of exposure to running water or other natural types of erosion. Since we're near the height of summer, and the moon is waxing, now is a good time to charge this special stone for the purpose of your choice. Choose a place outside where you can keep this stone (even a potted plant will work), and allow it to remain there for a day or two, even several months, exposing it to rain, sunlight, and moonlight-a powerful combination of the earth and water elements. Chant:
"Fortune, healing, and protection, Secrets guard beyond detection. Honored place in my collection, Guide me in the right direction." |
