Spell: Polar Opposites

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

On six small pieces of white paper, write your current struggles. Then, on six equal-sized pieces of black paper, write the things that you feel grateful for. Place each piece of paper into a molded portion of an ice cube tray. Fill each section containing white paper with cold saltwater and the sections containing black paper with warm honey water.

Enchant the spell with the following affirmation from the Tao Te Ching:

"There is no greater misfortune than not knowing what is good enough, no greater flaw than always wanting more and more. Whoever knows contentment is blissful at all times."

When you are ready, carefully place the tray in the freezer to chill. Later, gather the cubes in a towel and dump them on your front step. Leave them to melt in the heat of the day. Any papers that remain will provide divinatory insight revealing the predominant energy and offering spiritual confirmation.
