| Saturday is named for the Lord of Karma, the planet Saturn. Saturn influences longevity, purification, and visions. Saturday is a good day to do a banishing and purification spell on your home. From your garden or the local farmers' market or grocer, get a small bundle of seasonal herbs. Lavender, rosemary, sage, and thyme all have purification qualities and are in abundance at this time of year. Immerse the herbs in a pot of cold water, letting them infuse the water energetically. While they soak, sweep and mop your home, cleaning as you usually do. Then, to spiritually cleanse, grasp the herbs and shake off the excess water. Say:
"I invoke you, Saturn, Lord of Karma. Cleanse this home of negativity." Move systematically through your home, flicking water droplets into each corner and saying: "Herbs and water, purify, banish negativity from this place. Saturn, guard and sanctify, protect my living space. Blessed be." |
