Color of the day: Rose
Incense of the day: Rose The marigold (Calendula officinalis), as a symbol of endurance, was in the old days referred to as "husband's dial" and "summer's bride" in Britain. It was often used in a wedding garland. Obtain some earth from your partner's footprints and mix it with fertile soil enough to fill a terra cotta pot. Plant a handful of marigold seeds in the pot, and place it in a sunny spot. Water and nurture the pot with care so that the marigolds will self-seed for many years, drawing influences of stability, constancy, and fidelity. Marigold petals added to bathwater helps regain affection and respect from a loved one after a tiff or separation. When planning romantic evenings at home, light pink candles and place marigold flowers together with roses in a vase. Decorate the base of the vase by surrounding it with rose quartz stones. Relax and enjoy. |
