Spell: Flour in the Wind

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

By the end of March, we are often imagining the places we want to visit in the summer. To aid in our travels, we like to perform this spell that honors the wind and the spirits of air.

On a windy day, take a small handful of flour and go outside to a place where you won’t be disturbed. In your mind’s eye, visualize where you wish to travel this year. Visualize yourself arriving there safely as you feel the spring breeze whirl around you.

Open your hand and lightly blow the flour in your palm into the wind. As you blow the flour, visualize your journeys being picked up by the winds and scattered to where you wish to go, and then say:

May the spirits of air take
me where I want to go.
Let my journeys be where
the kind winds blow!
